How It Began

From curiosity to a career in SEO

When I was 17, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I tried different things, but nothing really gave me that feeling of finding something I cared about.

That changed during an IT course at college. I learned to code and built my first website about the Christmas markets in Bournemouth town centre. Seeing something I had created come to life was exciting. There was only one problem: no one visited it.

That question, how do I get people to find this?, introduced me to SEO.

The project that made it real

The Turning Point

A great local business that deserved to be found

My mum owns a massage spa. She offered a great service and wanted to compete with the larger spas around her, but she wasn't getting the exposure or bookings the business deserved.

I put what I had learned into practice and helped her spa reach number one. More people found the business, bookings grew, and SEO stopped being an interesting idea. It became something that could genuinely change a small business.

That result helped me find my passion: giving smaller businesses the chance to compete with bigger companies, without needing their budgets.
